MEET MY MIND :)

REFLECTION TECHNIQUE

 What a Day!!

Have u ever heard someone coming and explaining how certain things bother them and become difficult to get through it.  How our days become so busy that we forget to understand the reality behind our actions and thoughts. How life becomes so disdain without reflecting the importance of PRANA within us.  We forget the feeling of gratitude as we spend our time consciously or unconsciously working on one task to the other task.

This whole Prakriti (Matter) that you can see, touch, feel and smell is ever changing. What is in the morning may not be in the afternoon and what is in the afternoon may not be in the night. All things surrounding us, our body, our mind, our buddhi is all PRAKRITI. The only thing that remains constant is PURUSHA (PURE CONSCIOUSNESS).

What i mean to explain here is that by following some yogic techniques we can achieve a sense of gratitude, patience, self awareness, tolerant to emotions, equanimity etc.
Today, i am going to share this excellent technique called as 'Reflection Technique'.
This technique creates "ANITYA BHAVNA"
WHAT IS MEANT BY ANITYA BHAVNA??????
Anitya meaning Transient, inconstant. Bhavana meaning feelings. Together it means inconstant feelings or inconstant behaviour.
It says,"What was in the morning is not at midday; what was at mid-day is not at night, for all things are transitory (Anitya). Our body which is the cause of all kinds of human effort is as transitory as the scattering clouds. All our objects of pleasure are changing. Wealth is as transitory as a wave, youth-like a cotton particle blown off in a whirlwind; and opportunities like the fleeting dreams. Why should I be attached to anything when nothing is permanent and everything is changing?” The pondering over the transitoriness (Anityata) of all things is called Anitya Bhavana.
