This phrase interests me a lot because the difference between sometimes and sometimes not is beyond words. We keep noticing this two antonyms in most of the conversations we have with our near and dear ones.
So, today i am going to share my understanding to it when we say or hear someone saying like example:-
sometimes i feel sad and sometimes i am completely joyful
sometimes i am relaxed and sometimes i am stressed
sometimes i am more caring&compassionate and sometimes i am not.
sometimes i accept things and sometimes i fail to accept.
sometimes i am gentle & patient and sometimes i am not.
sometimes i believe in myself and sometimes not.
sometimes i trust the other person but sometimes not.
There can be infinite examples along side this but the very fact i am stating here is the dual personality of us. We commonly behave in a certain pattern and that pattern is not easy to comprehend until we become mindful of it.
When i say in my 1st example "I feel sad and sometimes I don't." This act of sadness can be extremely sad as well as painful. If we know the technique's to overcome the continuous sadness and pain by being more mindful about our senses. That means we are more balanced and calm. Being mindful absolutely means understanding the root cause of the sadness and asking yourself-
Is this going to help me in anyway to live joyfully in future??
Is this the only thing my mind, body & soul wants?? What is the real purpose of my life??
Who am i and very importantly what i can be to help my mind in true sense by cultivating the feeling of let go??
I wonder in most cases we get hurt or upset by the people we love. But the Question arises can we change others??
ANS is no. So better accept and focus what can make you yourself happy.
The very First step is acceptance. Accept you are sad, hurt, tired, disinterested etc then you can understand the problem more effortlessly and take it as a challenge to cultivate the sense of balance in both negative and positive situations. Believe in yourself and control your mind before your mind controls you. '
If you believe that you done your dharma correctly you will be rewarded by your karma'.
